Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed first public rally (election campaign)  “Vijay Vishwas Sabha”in Deesa, Banaskantha, in Gujarat today,on May 1, which will vote in the third phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections on May 7. While addressing a public meeting in Banaskantha on Wednesday, PM Modi appealed the people to vote for BJP.He recalled public welfare and development works being articulated by the government. Further in his address he claimed that NDA in all probability will win over 400 seats in Lok Sabha elections 2024.

He alleged that, today Congress says that BJP is asking for 400 seats so that it can end reservation. Whereas on the basis of religion, Congress itself wants to give reservation to Muslims by reducing the reservation given to ST,SC,OBC and backward classes. These people have done this experiment in Karnataka, where all Muslims were declared OBC overnight and given 5 percent reservation. As long as BJP is there,’as long as Modi is there’,no one can take away the reservation given to ST,SC,OBC and general category people.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to his home state Gujarat, where he will address six public gatherings, including 11 Lok Sabha constituencies.

Later today,PM will address a gathering at Modi Ground in Himmatnagar of Sabarkantha district, targeting the Sabarkantha and Mehsana Lok Sabha seats.Modi will address on May 2 at Anand, Wadhwan of Surendranagar, Junagadh, and Jamnagar.

Modi will campaign for the Lok Sabha seats of Anand, Kheda, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Porbandar, Amreli, and Jamnagar during these public gatherings. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has scheduled public gatherings and rallies featuring its top campaigners throughout the week. The BJP is hoping to replicate its success from the last two Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019, when it won all 26 seats. Attempting to match up is the Congress, which suffered an early defeat in Surat when BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal was proclaimed the winner before the polls.
