Stock market advance for a Second Day As RIL, Infosys,ITC Lead

The Indian stock market indices ended higher for the second consecutive session on Tuesday as June quarter earnings kick-off in India from Wednesday with I.T. major, TCS reporting its first quarter results on Wednesday, July 12.
At close ,the Sensex gained 273 points or was up 0.42 percent to end at 65,617.84, and the Nifty was up 83.50 points or 0.43 percent to close at 19,439.40.
Stocks and Sectors
Eicher Motors was the top gainer in the Nifty 50 index,rising nearly 3 percent. It was followed by Sun Pharma that also rose about 3 percent. Other gainers were Tata Consumer, Apollo Hospitals and Maruti Suzuki, among others.
While UPL was the biggest loser,down over 2 percent. Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, HCL Tech, JSW Steel and Hindalco Industries were other losers, according to sources.
On the sectoral front,Nifty Auto, Nifty FMCG, Nifty Pharma and Nifty Healthcare indices rose more than one percent each. Nifty Financial Services was top loser for the day, according to sources.
The BSE midcap and smallcap indices up nearly one percent each.
On 11th July’23,the Indian rupee strengthened 21 paise to close at 82.37 against the U.S dollar.
